This financial analyst says it’s a more personal process with Scouts.
Michael has over 25 years of experience as a financial analyst with a variety of roles in operations, supply chain, IT, and enterprise growth strategy. Starting out in full time positions, Michael eventually transitioned into contracting. Over the course of his career, he’s experienced working with many different placement firms. For Michael, the large firms feel like a pressure cooker, where hitting the numbers seems more important than the people and the relationships. The result is a lot of employee turnover at the large agencies—making Michael feel each engagement was starting from scratch.
A local team versus a national conglomerate.
“With Scouts Talent, I trust the people who are placing me and advocating for me. It’s less stressful that way. When people enjoy what they do, it’s contagious. When you’re working with people with a positive attitude and who like what they’re doing, then YOU like what you’re doing.” Michael compares working with Scouts to buying a book at a local bookstore—where you can chat with the owner over a cup of coffee—versus buying a book off of Amazon. “It’s a more personal experience.”
Scouts Talent ensures success.
Setting contractors up for success is a core value for Scouts Talent. Listening, finding the right role, equipping contractors for a successful interview, and checking in regularly to see how it’s going, ensures a successful outcome. “These roles can be really challenging. Scouts really listens to me and cares about me. It makes me confident that I’m there for all the right reasons.”
We’re serious about our relationships.
“Because Scouts Talent is a smaller company, they can spend more time with me. In turn, I want to do a good job for them. They’re serious about this business. They’re professionals. Everyone at Scouts is very polished and confident and that reflects well on me.”
