Q: If you could try a different job for a day, what would you choose?

A: I would be a chef in a hot new restaurant, I like the energy and pressure.

Q: What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry?

A: Focus on franchisee success as the main goal. It is the key to the rest.

Q: What is your mantra?

A: “Work hard, be nice.” 

Q: How do you get yourself out of a slump?

A: My lovely wife picks me up, repairs the damage and pushes me back out there.

Q: What companies or leaders do you admire?

A: I am astounded at the vision of Amazon and Tesla’s leaders. While at the same time, I greatly appreciate Warren Buffet’s practical approach.

Q: What has been the biggest shift you’ve noticed in your industry in the last decade?

A: Technology is a must everywhere. 

Q: Who has been most instrumental in your career?

A: My wife. Spouses of entrepreneurs don’t get enough credit, they hold it all together and make us look good.

Q: What is your go-to celebration meal, drink or tradition?

A: Manny’s all the way.
